Lucinda Fosker was born in Berkshire grew up amongst a musical family. Lucinda started her musical career at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where she studied for a Higher Diploma in Music Performance. It was here that she joined the ACM Gospel choir where she sung backing vocals with names such as Labrinth, Alexandra Burke and Stacey Soloman, she also has performed at the FA Cup final, The London 2012 Olympics and had the honour of singing for the Queen at the Windsor Royal Tattoo.
Lucinda has always enjoyed playing piano from a young age. Although having studied classical piano she has since enjoyed exploring the more contemporary side of the keyboard and delving into pop and Jazz. Lucinda always tries to make the lessons as fun as possible - whilst still maintaining a good work ethic.
Her passion for Jazz arose when she was awarded a scholarship to attend "The Montgomery Jazz Course" with Laurie Holloway. At this point she decided to explore her options in Jazz and subsequently attended and graduated Birmingham Conservatoire speicalising in Jazz Voice (2:1). Lucinda has been privileged enough to learn from some of the Jazz greats such as Anita Wardell, Tina May, Norma Winstone, Liane Carroll, John Taylor and Mark Armstrong just to name a few.
Lucinda is now predominantly a Jazz singer playing gigs with her originals band LUCINDA.
