Lucinda Fosker BMus (Hons)
Lucinda Fosker was born in Berkshire grew up amongst a musical family. Lucinda started her musical career at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where she studied for a Higher Diploma in Music Performance. It was here that she joined the ACM Gospel choir where she sung backing vocals with names such as Labrinth, Alexandra Burke and Stacey Soloman, she also has performed at the FA Cup final, The London 2012 Olympics and had the honour of singing for the Queen at the Windsor Royal Tattoo.
Her passion for Jazz arose when she was awarded a scholarship to attend "The Montgomery Jazz Course" with Laurie Holloway. At this point she decided to explore her options in Jazz and subsequently attended and graduated Birmingham Conservatoire speicalising in Jazz Voice (2:1). Lucinda has been privileged enough to learn from some of the Jazz greats such as Anita Wardell, Tina May, Norma Winstone, Liane Carroll, John Taylor and Mark Armstrong just to name a few.
Lucinda has always loved teaching and working with young people whether that may be one to one or in a group setting. Birmingham has supported her in her teaching career and presented her with lots of opportunities over the years. She has worked for several different stage schools over the last five years; Stageworks, Stagecoach, Fame, Razzmatazz and is currently working at Music Academy Midlands and on the vocal tutor panel with Wandsworth Music Service. In each school she has taken on the role of singing coach and worked with the children in groups of 20-25 students ranging for ages 5-18. As well as working in musical theatre schools Lucy also enjoys teaching privately in and around Maidenhead and Birmingham.
Lucinda is now predominantly a Jazz singer playing gigs with her originals band LUCINDA.

David Nicolas BA (PGCE)
David is a very experienced musician and teacher of music. He joins our brilliant team of Piano tutors.
David has been playing the piano since the age of 6 and continued onto pass his grade 8 and then complete a Ba music degree at the University of Southampton.
During this time David expanded on his already competent classical piano skills and branched out into pop and jazz fields playing at many venues on the South coast in a variety of groups.
After completion of his degree David went on to obtain a PGCE and then become Head of Music of a respected Secondary school.
Now David is focusing on his professional playing career, often working with the likes of James Bay and his brother Alex Francis. As well as being the musical director for his own and other's projects.
